World Art Day – April 15, 2022
Creation is the maker of love and miracles, powerful feelings, and privilege in the eternity life offers us without hesitation.
Every year, on April 15th, World Art Day is celebrated. This day comes as a recognition of the contribution of artists to the enrichment of culture and universal spirituality.
The date was chosen for the Italian painter, sculptor, architect, inventor, and humanist Leonardo da Vinci (April 15, 1452 – May 2, 1519), a symbol of free expression and a visionary in the art world. He is also the author of the famous adage:
“In life, beauty fades. In art, it does not.”
The simplicity of the beauty that Art creates defines the nature of each of us.
Today, amidst war, disease, sorrow, and all the negative emotions that complete the human being, the whole world raises its gaze in a smile and joy towards the celebration of Art. A divine absolute that offers us daily pleasure, serenity, peace, and light that creates life. Art, with its serene and peaceful nature, calms our minds and brings us a sense of tranquility.
In times our minds refuse to know, Art makes its presence felt in various forms, sometimes through colors or words, and other times through magical voices that flood our being. We are active in the Art that created us and the infinite string of creativity that defines us. We are an active impulse of the need for beauty.
It is an official day that shows us that all of nature is clothed in Art, a sensitive symbol that defines the color of life and the joy of being more than a body made of dust. We have within us the Creative Art, a metaphorical representation of our innate ability to appreciate and create beauty, that makes us creators of life and beauty; we have a body balanced by mind and soul. A perfect whole that always shows us the way to beauty and harmony, the healing power of the energy that flows through our veins.
Release the Art within you and let it embrace you! Whether it’s through painting, writing, singing, or any other form of expression, let your creativity flow and enrich your life.
Today is when I invite you to give yourself at least a few minutes to feel the beauty around you – be it a piece of nature, a smile from loved ones, a taste of coffee, or a velvety aroma from what brings you joy. Each of us has the pleasure of beauty within and the need to live in joy. This is Art! Embrace the beauty of art in your daily life and let it inspire and motivate you.
The celebration of Beauty, the power to offer beauty, the opening towards harmony and color. Regardless of where you are now, your mood, or the phase you’re going through today, give yourself a moment just for you, a moment to close your eyes and listen to life whispering in your ear.
Listen to the voice of Art in your heart! Beauty lies hidden in the most minor details, and the Art within you is just waiting to be awakened to life.
